"DON’T WORRY ABOUT
WHAT OTHERS PEOPLE THINK ABOUT YOU."
It turns out that basketball has taught Aiden one of life’s philosophical lessons — that the obstacle is the way.
“Sometimes it’s very difficult to know what to do or where to go during a game,” Aidan said. “But basketball has taught me that if you keep playing and working at it, you’ll eventually get it.”
Aiden is a senior at BASIS Flagstaff and is grateful for the 12 years that he spent growing up in Asia.
He acknowledges his dad for getting him into basketball and he appreciates what he’s learned from the sport and how playing has improved him as an athlete and a person.
Aidan wants to improve his basketball skills, but he understands that what’s important comes from within.
“You just have to do your best and don’t worry what other people think about you.”
