Moonshot, the City of Flagstaff and APs proudly presents the 2nd Annual Shoemaker Awards celebration. This inspirational and entertaining event celebrates moonshot-thinking entrepreneurs from Flagstaff and across Arizona.
The event started with the AZ Pioneer Pitch Tour Finals (think SHARK TANK) where seven brave entrepreneurs presented their pitches for one more chance the title of 2022 Statewide AZ Pioneer Pitch Winner and $10,000 grand prize from APS. The honor went to Prescott Bark – dog boarding, daycare and grooming.
Awards included:
- The 2021-2022 Innovate Waste & CDR Challenge winner was Restoration Soils.
- The Mission Control winner was Rich Bowen, Senior Vice President at Genterra Enterprises.
- Moonshot Entrepreneur Award Winners, Katalyst Space Technologies and Grubcan.
- Honorary 2022 Shoemaker Award winner, Kenny Greene, Founder War2In.
- 2022 Shoemaker Award winner, Dr. Robert Kellar.
